Our Halloween designs are always very popular and the Witch’s Cauldron Cross Stitch pattern is fun and easy to make.
We don’t know what our witch is cooking up in her cauldron but the green liquid is clearly boiling away. It looks as though she is casting a spell, “hubble, bubble, toil and trouble” and all that!
There are 12 colors in our Witch’s Cauldron Cross Stitch pattern, in various shades of red, green, brown and grey and the fire underneath the cauldron is burning brightly with orange and yellow flames.
Our witch is dressed in grey and red with a jaunty grey hat with a red ribbon. She certainly looks the business while she’s concocting her spells.
As with all our cross stitch patterns, we’ve chosen 16 count white Aida for this design which measures 70 x 80 stitches. If you hover your cursor over the design you’ll be able to enlarge the Witch’s Cauldron Cross Stitch pattern so you can see the outlining which is done in a single thread of black DMC.
We recommend DMC thread for our creations because its consistently good quality, but if you happen to have other makes in your stash of threads then you can use those instead.

When you order our Witch’s Cauldron Cross Stitch pattern we’ll send you a link to download the design from our website. There will be two sheets of this design, one in color and the other in black and white so that will make it easy to stitch.
One tip, when you’re using a black and white symbol chart is to use colored pencils or pens to fill in the stitches you’ve already completed. It makes it easy to see your place in the pattern, especially if the colors are quite close together.
