The cat lovers in your life will love this Tabby Cat cross stitch pattern.
Our Tabby Cat cross stitch pattern has 12 bright colors and measures 50 x 60 stitches. It isn’t too difficult to make as it has large areas of block color so if you’re a beginner you could certainly give it a try.
We’ve designed it on 16 count white Aida but you could use any color Aida, the colors would really pop if you used a darker color like navy or black.
This Tabby Cat cross stitch pattern is in tortoiseshell colors and in the US these cats are less common and are called calico cats.
Like all our patterns which are downloaded from the internet, the Tabby Cat cross stitch pattern is in PDF format and includes colour blocks and black and white symbols sheets. We list DMC threads but you can use any other make or perhaps swap the colours around to use threads you already have in your needlework box.
If you know someone who has a black and white cat then you could adapt the colors on the pattern to personalise the design.
If you like this pattern then take a look around our website. You’ll find a Cat in a Halloween Hat in the Halloween section and that would be fun to stitch at other times of the year like birthdays if you removed the spiders and the broomstick.
