There’s nothing that brings Christmas to life more than our Snow Globe cross stitch pattern featuring our cheery snowman and tree.
The Christmas tree is decorated with gold, blue and red baubles and topped with a twinkling golden star while shiny blue stars surround the white snowman who is wearing a jaunty festive red and green hat with a matching woolly scarf. He looks warm and cosy in his globe although he’s standing in the snow!
Our Snow Globe cross stitch pattern looks really super, as though you only need to pick it up and shake it to remind yourself it’s nearly Christmas.
We’ve designed our snowman on 16 count Aida using DMC thread in a variety of lovely greens, red, blue and gold and then outlined in black to make the colors pop. It would look good in a small wooden frame, you could use an embroidery hoop in a natural color or you could spray the hoop in a color of your choice using craft paint. Just remember to make sure it’s dry before you mount the Snow Globe cross stitch into it!
There are plenty of other lovely Christmas designs on our website, many of them featuring pine trees decorated with tinsel and lights as well as a Christmas Elf and a penguin. We particularly like the Inside / Outside festive views, we think they’re unusual and they’re fun to make as well.
Snow Globe cross stitch pattern charts
It will take an experienced stitcher about four hours to complete the Snow Globe cross stitch but with quite a lot of areas of one color, for instance, in the tree and the snow, you might be able to finish it more quickly.
When you order the Snow Globe cross stitch pattern, you’ll get a color chart as well as a black and white symbol chart and we hope you enjoy this design and have fun making it.
