Our Partridge in a pear tree Cross Stitch pattern would make a wonderful Christmas card or even a celebration of autumn and the changing of the seasons.
The brightly colored partridge looks very at home perched on the branch of the pear tree which is laden with fruit.
This is one of our slightly larger patterns, measuring 100 x 100 stitches on 16 count white Aida. If you wanted to make it slightly smaller you could use 18 count Aida, or if you wanted to make it a little larger you could use 14 count Aida, the choice is yours.
There are 16 glowing colors in the Partridge in a pear tree Cross Stitch pattern. These include shades of red, pink, orange, yellow, brown and grey. The pear tree is in shades of brown and there are red berries intertwined with the pears.
The black outlining of the design really brings the picture to life, as does the black backstitch border. Although at 100 x 100 stitches this is one of our slightly larger designs, you will be able to complete it fairly quickly because there is plenty of white background which is not stitched.
