Our quirky Love Snails Valentine’s cross stitch pattern is ready for you to download instantly as a PDF from our website.
Stitched on 16 count Aida, we use white Aida but you could use cream or any other color you choose. There are 13 colors and we suggest you use DMC thread but you’re free to use any other shades you might have in your needlework box.
The finished design on 16 count Aida measures 6.3 x 3.8ins and it’s ideal to make up into a card or to put into a frame for your loved one to open on Valentine’s Day, which is February 14, just in case you needed a reminder!
As you can see, there is plenty of detail to make the Love Snails Valentine’s cross stitch interesting to make. The snails are in contrasting shades of yellow and one snail has a shell made of pink and blue Valentine hearts while the other has a shell in a blue and pink pattern.
The snails are both sitting on grass and the love is all around, as shown by the little hearts over their heads.
When you order this chart you’ll get a color sheet which shows you which colors to stitch where, and you’ll also get a sheet of black and white symbols which match up to the different DMC colors so the chart is easy to follow. The outlining is done in one black thread in easy back stitch.
