Our Love Robot cross stitch pattern is a complete one-off, not something you’ll find in any other magazine or on any other website.
Created on 16 count Aida, it uses just six colors and when stitched it measures 3.1 x 3.8 inches so the Love Robot cross stitch is ideal to pop into an aperture card for your loved one on Valentine’s Day.
We prefer to use DMC thread for our stitching but you can make up our Love Robot cross stitch design in any other make of thread that you prefer, or have in your work box.
You don’t have to send your loved one a soppy card with hearts and flowers if a modern one is more appropriate. Our Love Robot cross stitch is easy to make in shades of purple and pink. He (or is it a she!) has an antenna on his/her head and is holding two pink hearts.
The design really pops if you use a single black thread to create the outline. This is really easy to do and with so many straight lines on this modern work of art it’s quite quick to make too.
StitchMeGifts has lots of modern and unusual Valentine cards to make, so have a look at our others by clicking on the Valentine link on our drop down menu.
Our Love Robot cross stitch is just one of many modern designs on our website
There you’ll find not only our Love Robot cross stitch but also others like our Love Owls, Angel Heart and also several blackwork designs, which contrary to the name, look really effective when stitched in contrasting colours of red and pink. They certainly don’t have to be made in black thread.
When you order one of our charts you’ll get a color block chart so that you can easily see where the different colors are used and also a black and white symbol chart which has the key so that you can complete the design without any difficulty. All you need is some time, an aperture card from your local craft shop and then you can wow your loved one with a personalised card.
