We supply two charts for the Haunted House Cross Stitch Pattern. The outlining is done in a single thread of black.

We always recommend DMC thread, because in our experience it is reliably good and if you need to buy a second skein then the color of the new thread is an excellent match to the old one.
If you make the Haunted House Cross Stitch Pattern we’d love to see an emailed picture when you’ve finished it. If you prefer a spookier result you could use black 16 count Aida and then outline the black bat at the top left hand corner in gold holographic thread to make it stand out.
