Our Ginger Cat cross stitch pattern is 16 count Aida and measures 7 x 7cm. Every PDF download includes a printable diagram of symbols and block sheets showing you how the design will look when it is finished.
With Christmas just around the corner our friendly Ginger Cat in a Hat cross stitch pattern is the perfect gift to stitch for a friend.
Cross stitch is really a way of painting by using thread. It’s very relaxing if you have a busy job or lifestyle and easy to take with you on a journey or on holiday and it’s so quick to do that you can see real progress by just doing a little every day at lunchtime and in coffee breaks.
Aida is very easy to work on, our pattern is in 16 count but you could use other sizes like 11, 14 or 18 count. The smaller the count number the larger the finished card will be so a 14 count piece of Aida will result in a larger picture than using 18 count.
If you haven’t got the right colour threads, or perhaps you have a black cat of your own who would like to send out his own Christmas cards, then you can substitute any of the colours in our Ginger Cat in a Hat design for different ones you already have in your needlework basket.
If you’re a volunteer for a pet charity like Cats Protection or the RSPCA in the UK why not make half a dozen different cross stitch Cat in a Hat cards and then sell them through local events to help raise funds.
