Easter is a time for celebration so here’s our Easter Egg Hunt cross stitch pattern which is colorful and fun to make.
We’ve gone for an Alice in Wonderland theme in our Easter Egg Hunt cross stitch. Our Alice has long blonde hair, but if you’re making this card for someone with brown or red hair, just change the colors and use a slightly darker red or brown for the shading in the hair.
Our Alice is dressed in a blue frock with a white apron and is wearing matching boots. She’s carrying a map showing where the Easter eggs are hidden and she’s helped by a little grey and white bunny who seems to be keeping the biggest egg for himself!
Alice is carrying a pink basket and she’s already been successful in finding quite a number of the chocolate eggs. But has she spotted the one behind her yet?
Adding to the detail is a large tree and a bush with pink flowers. The message Happy Easter completes our Easter Egg Hunt cross stitch pattern.
We’ve designed this Easter Egg Hunt cross stitch pattern to be completed on 16 count Aida. We’ve used white material but you can use cream with a similar effect. Once you’re done, outline the design in a single thread of black, we like DMC as it has consistent quality, but you can use other makes of thread if you already have them in your needlework box.
