Our Christmas Door cross stitch pattern is a gateway to our Christmas world of adventure in cross stitch.

Our lovely Christmas Door cross stitch pattern has all the elements you’d expect from a Christmas card.

There’s the gold tinsel along the top of the door and windows and the red curtains echo the theme of the red Christmas Door.

The trees in the Christmas Door cross stitch pattern are in shades of green and they are adorned with golden lights and topped with glittering gold stars. We’ve outlined them in black but you could try using holographic gold thread for a luxury look.

The Christmas Door has a festive green bow and the red curtains are drawn back so that the house residents can see who is coming up the path.

There is plenty of detail in the Christmas Door cross stitch pattern, from the two-tone browns in the brickwork to the clever shading on the red door and trees as well as on the snow covered lawn.

We’ve created this design to be stitched on 16 count Aida and suggest you use DMC thread, although you can use any other thread you may have.

When you’ve finished stitching you can either use double sided tape to stick the needlework to a blank card, or you can use an aperture card to give a really professional look.

When you buy this card you get black and white and color symbol charts to download so that it’s easy to work out which color to use where.  You can use the chart again and again, perhaps changing the color of the front door to make a really personalised gift for all your friends and family.
