If you’ve got lots of family, friends and work colleagues then they’ll appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into our Christmas Baubles Cross Stitch pattern.
This is a pattern you’ll be able to use over and over again. The Christmas Baubles Cross Stitch pattern is designed on 16 count white Aida and it has nine colors and 70 x 70 stitches.
It’s quite a thrifty design to make because you don’t have to use the colors we suggest. You could use any short lengths you have in your craft basket.
We’ve gone for a really festive look with our baubles adorned with Christmas holly leaves and berries. The small green baubles have a red bow beneath them and a bright golden star in the middle of them.
The large golden bauble has a brightly decorated Christmas tree on it, standing in a red pot.
You could make a series of the Christmas Baubles Cross Stitch pattern, perhaps changing colors so that everyone gets something different.
The Christmas Baubles Cross Stitch pattern outlining is in black DMC thread but to give a festive look you could use holographic gold or silver thread for the large bauble and green and red for outlining the holly. We love the red ribbons but, again, you could create your own individual design with color.
Use sequins and beads on your Christmas Baubles Cross Stitch pattern
Another way of making your Christmas Baubles Cross Stitch pattern look really different is to use sequins and beads on the baubles, so that you get a fantastic 3-D effect. Craft shops sell these beads for as little as $2 or £1 and you get hundreds in a packet so they’re well worth a small investment.
We hope you enjoy stitching our baubles design as much as our young designer has enjoyed creating it. Happy Christmas!
