An alternative view of our Campervan cross stitch pattern this time to stitch from the side view.

The summer of love hots-up with our new design of  this Campervan side view cross stitch pattern.

If you can remember that far back, dudes heading for the beach in the 1970s shoved their surfboards and flip flops into the VW and took off for the weekend. Our Campervan side view cross stitch pattern echoes the fun of those days perfectly.

Our Campervan side view cross stitch pattern complements our other campervan pattern so you could stitch both as a special gift for someone who loves that carefree era.

We’ve chosen 16 count white Aida for our  hippy Campervan side view cross stitch although you could use navy for a nautical theme if your Campervan is going to someone who lives at the seaside. Use 14 count Aida if you want a slightly larger finished work and 18 if you prefer a smaller one.

We have designed the Campervan side view cross stitch pattern in shades of DMC for reliability of quality, and also because it’s a make which is available worldwide, but if you already have spare thread of other makes, you can use those instead. The outlining is done in a single black thread.

Trendy colors in our Campervan side view cross stitch pattern

Just like our front view, this Campervan side view cross stitch pattern is in trendy colors of purple and sunshine yellow with a bright yellow flower with an orange centre. Very 1970s! If you also make the front view then you could either leave the number plate grey or perhaps stitch your loved one’s name to make it really personal.

There’s plenty of detail in this design to hold your interest while you stitch it. Everything from the airvents for the engine, the bumpers, a windscreen wiper and sliding glass windows makes this a little work of art to hang on a wall or make into a birthday card.

We hope you enjoy making it.
