The summer of love is back again with our hip Campervan cross stitch pattern.
Stitched in hippy colors of purple and yellow, our Campervan front cross stitch design is bang on trend.
This is not a particularly difficult pattern because there are large blocks of color so give it a go and see how you get on.
We love the 1970s themes of sun, sand and surf and we see our Campervan front cross stitch pattern being a really popular design for anyone who loves the era when campervans were right on and weekends were spent chilling at the beach.
This would be a great design to make up as a card for someone born in the 1970s or for a keen surfer in the family. We’re working on other Campervan cross stitch designs so look out for those as well.
Our Campervan cross stitch pattern is made up on 16 count white Aida although you could use navy for a nautical theme if your Campervan is going to someone who lives at the seaside. Use 14 count Aida if you want a slightly larger finished work and 18 if you prefer a smaller one.
As usual, we have designed the Campervan front cross stitch pattern in shades of DMC for reliability of quality but if you already have spare thread of other makes, you can use those instead. The outlining is done in a single black thread.
Our Campervan cross stitch pattern charts
When you download Campervan front cross stitch pattern you’ll get a color chart which is very easy to follow and also a black and white one which shows exactly which shade goes where.
We know where you’ll find us this summer, down on the beach stitching our Campervan cross stitch pattern and watching the surfers falling into the water!
Happy stitching everyone and if you make this design we’d love to see how it turns out.
