Product Description

Our Angel & Christmas Tree cross stitch pattern will make a lovely card or gift for a loved one.

Let’s face it,  the Christmas story features angels and the festive season wouldn’t be the same without them. Our Angel & Christmas Tree cross stitch pattern  is created using 16 count Aida and features a golden haired angel holding a star in front of a glittering star covered tree beneath which presents in brightly colored red, blue and yellow paper are waiting to be unwrapped.

The angel is standing on a snowy background and there are sparkly stars in the background. We supply color charts for the Angel & Christmas Tree cross stitch as well as black and white symbols which make it easy to see which shades you need to use. Our recommendation is for DMC thread but you could use any other make you have in your work box. If you use 14 count Aida then your finished design will be a little larger and if you use 18 count Aida then it will be a little smaller.

The design is outlined in easy black backstitch which brings the colors into sharp focus but to give an added touch of luxury you could use sparkling gold or holographic thread. Gutermann or Glitter Superior Threads are well worth the extra couple of pounds/dollars to buy.

Angel & Christmas Tree cross stitch is a favorite design

Decorated trees are a relatively modern tradition in the Western world but angels have been a feature of the Christmas story for centuries so our Angel & Christmas Tree cross stitch pattern marries an old with a newer way of celebrating the festive season.

We have a good range of Christmas cards for every range of ability. So whether you have lots of time, or not much, whether you’re a beginner at cross stitch, or more experienced,  you’ll find something to suit you. You’ll see that angels are a favorite of ours and so are trees. The more bling at Christmas the better!
